INTEGRATING PRINTERS
Finedine Menu integrates with your thermal printers that have ESC/POS command support, Ethernet and USB. You can have multiple printers integrated if you want to send specific orders to specific printers. The printer integration is charged monthly separately from the subscription. Please check the pricing page for more details.

In order to integrate your printers to Finedine Menu, the first thing you need is a link from our team to run the Print Server program on your computer. You can get this link by clicking the horizontal 3 dots inside the control panel and selecting Integrations on the list. Then connect to the integration you want to apply and we will contact you.

Please keep in mind that the Print Server program should be open and running on a computer that is connected to the same network as the printers. If you close the program or the computer, the connection will be lost and integration will not work.

To integrate a USB printer:
1-Run the program from the link
2-Log in with your credentials of Finedine Menu (your Venue ID and Pincode)
3-You will see the list of USB printers connected to your computer in the following page. Select the printer you want to integrate and click Save.
4-Insert a name and Code Page for your printer. The Code Page determines the language that will be used when you’re printing orders. Click on “Click here to see Code Pages” and find the language you want to use. Next to the language there will be a code starting with PC. Type the rest of the code after PC in the Code Page box to set your printer language. For example, English is number 61 on the list and the code for it is PC857. To set your language to English, you should type in 857 as the Code Page.
5-Once it’s saved, the system will give you a success notification. Click OK and continue.
6-The list of printers you’ve integrated will be listed from which you can delete, test or set as default.

To integrate an Ethernet printer:
1-Run the program from the link
2-Log in with your credentials of Finedine Menu (your Venue ID and Pincode)
3-Enter the printer’s IP address into the empty slot you see under Ethernet Printers and click on Test to check if it’s correct and save the printer.
For example, Enslish is number 61 on the list and the code for it is PC857. To set your language to English, you should type in 857 as the Code Page.
5-Once it’s saved, the system will give you a success notification. Click OK and continue.
6-The list of printers you’ve integrated will be listed from which you can delete, test or set as default.

If you have several printers, you can set a default printer by clicking “Set as Default” next to the printer of your choice. This printer will be used to print bills.

SETTING DIFFERENT PRINTERS FOR ITEMS
After you’ve integrated your printers, you can select which printer will be used for which item from the control panel. Go to Menus and enter the item you want to work on. Under the Item Detail page there will be a Printer option from which you can select the printer you want this item to be submitted to. Click Save to complete the process. If you want to use one printer for all your items you don’t have to assign each item a printer and all your items will be sent to your Default Printer.

MANAGING YOUR INTEGRATIONS
Go to Integrations in the control panel, select Receipt Printer Integration and click on Edit to enter the details of your printer integrations. In the Detail page you can see your printers and change the names & code pages for your printers. You can also change your Default Printer from this page.

In the Settings tab, you can set a footer to be inserted at the bottom of your bills to inform your customers. For example you can insert a note such as “This ticket has no financial value”.
