FineDine in-app promotion allows you to generate more profit by promoting your special offers or advertising partners. The promotion can be displayed as a pop-up page directly when the customer enters the menu/section/item, or it can be displayed as a banner in your menu, as seen in the below picture.

Listed below is the step-by-step process of creating and activating in-app promotions in your Finedine menu.

Step 1

Firstly, you need to click on the “Add a Promotion” button to open the pop-up window.

Step 2

You would be needing to set a "Name" and "Description" to your ad to make management easier. This name and description are for your view only and not visible to your customers.

Step 3

Once you have set up your name and description, there are three types of promotions that you can choose from depending on your preference:

Time-Based (Tablet Menu supported Only)

This is the option where you can set the promotional content to be displayed after a certain amount of time. The content type can either be an image, video, or URL. You also have the option to keep the promotional content open until the customer closes or to close a promotion after a certain amount of time that you will set.

Selection-Based (Pop-Up Campaign)

In this option, the promotional content would be displayed after a menu, section, or item is selected, depending on how you set it. The content type can either be an image, video, or URL. You also have the option to keep the promotional content open until the customer closes or to close a promotion after a certain amount of time that you will set.

Banner Based

The promotional content in this option is displayed after a banner is tapped. In the Tablet menu, banner campaigns are only visible in Infinite Scroll Mode. In the Dine-In QR Menu, Tablet Menu, and Delivery & Pick Up Menu, they are visible on the menu screen. The content type can either be an image, video, or URL.

Step 4

Once you have filled up all the fields required, you may now click on the green “Go Live” button to activate your promo code, or if you feel you still need to make revisions on it, you can click on the “Save Draft” and publish it at a time of your convenience.
